Sneak Peek: Jamie and Emma's Wedding at The Lamb Inn, Sandford

Jamie and Emma are a couple living my dream life and are so much cooler than I will ever be! Safe to say that they had a seriously cool day. Quite honestly, yesterday changed how I feel about getting married myself!

In a couple of situations that could cause even the most chill couple to have a meltdown, these two breezed on through without batting an eyelid (note how wet we got later on in the peek). I have such admiration for these two and the way they went about planning their day.

Having been together for so long already and with baby number 3 on the way, the day was clearly not about the commitment. This takes so much pressure off things and creates such a beautiful, relaxed feeling.

Without the stress and nerves of a more traditional wedding, there was space for so much meaning and sentiment in the day. Even the small things the couple had put thought and meaning into. From the walking down the aisle song to the vendors involved in the wedding, everything had extra layers of feels!

I can now truly appreciate how special it is to choose vendors on the basis that these two did - locals/friends who are enthusiastic about what they do. Having lived in Sandford for a number of years while growing up, this meant that I knew and was full heartedly behind nearly all the people involved!

Big shouts to the amazing Phoebe, I cannot recommend her enough! Many people don’t consider how tricky it is to run a wedding or how important a wedding coordinator is and often I will be the one trying to sort things out that have been overlooked. Phoebe is literally a wedding fairy - putting out fires, planning for every outcome, and magically sorting everything without you even knowing.

Jamie and Emma, I can’t thank you enough for having me. It is hard to believe that after wanting to for so long, I finally got to shoot at my favourite pub/place on the planet and with such truly such amazing, lovely, hilarious people that genuinely share my interests. Just say ‘pints at The Lamb’ any time and I will be there!
