Sneak Peek: Charlie and Amelia's Wedding at Monks Withecombe

Amelia and Charlie are a couple after my own heart. For starters, they have skied in all the same places I have and Charlie has even done a season in a resort where I have. They have also moved to Bristol where I have been loving living since the start of the year. Although the list goes on, nothing encapsulates why these two are so great better than their relentless approach to having a good time.

Every time we would finish a video call before the wedding, I would find that the call had gone on way longer than I would have expected. This was down to how unbelievably fun and interesting Charlie and Millie are to chat with which made me feel like I had known them for years!

Their wedding really displayed their amazing personalities with so much planning, thought and meaning going into every part of the day. However, everything felt effortless and the day flowed with non stop joy, class and (serious) style!

A huge thank you to everyone involved. It was so great to finally get to shoot at Monks Withecombe and it was a delight to meet and have a long chat with Simon (the owner) about sweet peas! The vicar was absolutely fantastic along with the staff at PoshNosh. Big thanks also to the wonderful Helen on video for being so fun to work with and the same to Phil and the MC for helping keep the day running smoothly. Finally, thanks to all the other fantastic vendors and all of the friends and family for such a genuinely wonderful day.

Charlie and Amelia - You two are the best, keep doing what you are doing. One more thank you goes out to you both for being so great and for the pleasure of having me at your epic day.

Sidenote: The story behind Amelia’s veil is just as incredible as the veil itself. Charlie's great, great grandmother wore it for her wedding in 1877 and it has been passed down and worn by various children, grandchildren, great grandchildren or their spouses for 144 years. I seriously doubt that anything I wear would look so good in 144 years, to tell the truth I am not sure anything I wear even looks good now!
