Sneak Peek: Rachel and Ben's Wedding at Shilstone House
Rachel and Ben had to book and rebook their day an unspeakable amount of times. Amongst this stress, we managed to sneak in a couple shoot at Beer where we had an absolute ball! This amazing evening got me stupendously hyped for their big day which, indeed, proceeded to be absurd amounts of fun.
There were so many parts of this day that stick in my mind but here are some of my personal highlights -
Rachel and the girls’ amazing reaction to me simply arriving at bride prep!
Ben having his Dad as his best man - incredibly touching
The super emotional ceremony, can more grooms cry please?
That dress/veil in the wind!
Ben’s country song - if you know, you know
So much more but I need to finish this post and sleep!
MASSIVE shout out to Rachel and Ben for their first dance. So many couples worry about the first dance, especially when swaying to a slow song isn’t really very ‘them’. These two absolutely sent it with no swaying in sight. To couples reading this - make the first dance your own!
It is always an absolute pleasure to catch up with couples who’s weddings I have shot previously! I shot Chloe & Marc’s wedding what feels like a lifetime ago yet they are still slaying and steezing it all over the gaff. I shot Sarah and Mikey’s wedding in 2020 and they have since welcomed another gorgeous little girl into the world! Big love to these two epic couples, it really was amazing to chat! Also, big thanks to Sarah for being my personal assistant all day in the most amusing manner imaginable!
Rachel & Ben are two incredibly wonderful people. They seem to enter every situation they find themselves in with huge smiles and an unwavering sense of positivity.
Just look at the photo of them in the rain below as an example - I have never known anyone have such a good time while negotiating with a torrential downpour. The same can be said about their wonderful friends and family who are ALL absolutely delightful.
LOVELY couple + WONDERFUL crowd + FAB venue + SPLENDID vendors = EPIC day, thank you everyone!
