Sneak Peek: Florence & Ray's Wedding at Ashton Farm Barn
Ok so this sneak peek is hardly the sneakiest of peeks but I just couldn’t cut any more photos! (It may take a little while to load as a result!)
Where do I even begin about this incredible day?!
I guess I will start with the fantastic display of style on show. Florence’s dress - absolutely beautiful. Ray’s sherwani - absolutely incredible. The guests threads - absolutely stunning. This was a stylish kinda day.
Not only was this wedding a catwalk of incredible clothes from different cultures but it was also simply delightful. Ray and Florence and their friends and family were SO lovely, the whole day had such a close, friendly and warm feel to it.
Often in the time between food and the evening do, there is a bit of down time where I don’t end up taking many pictures as there isn’t much on and people are recharging after the meal. However, one Florence and Ray’s family friends did a Mr and Mrs quiz which was absolutely hilarious to watch! Shortly after there was a ceidleigh which I can never encourage enough. The joy of a ceidleigh is that it gets absolutely everyone involved and gets them having fun with people they may not have met yet. It is SUCH a good way to kick off the evening, I implore everyone to have a ceidleigh at their wedding!
Some of my highlights of the day of which I have yet to mention include:
The beautiful, hilarious, and tear jerking speeches
The moment the beer keg exploded when tapped (pictures provided)
The countless fantastic chats I had with the friends and family of the couple
In case I haven’t got my point across yet - this was a truly stunning day filled with incredible people. Florence and Ray, you are both so wonderful and I am so pleased to have finally got to meet you!
NB: Big shouts to my darling Matilda (Florence’s sister) who recommended me to this wonderful couple! Also big shouts to the wonderful Becca who kept the day running smoothly!
