Carrian and Matt's Devon Festival Wedding!
These two absolutely wonderful people first got in touch way back in 2019 and so this ended up being their third attempt at getting married! Let me tell you, it really showed as this day was of divine creation!
My excitement was already high when I got there, I am talking hype level 10, but Carrian and Matt had omitted to tell me that they had actually planned a little festival! The location was unreal and all of the setup, decorations and details were suuuuuuper cool. After a chat with the girls and a nosy around the marquee, my hype level rose to 12.
Then I met the gorgeous woofs, Cooper and Vinny which put me on hype level 14. Then I saw the shoes, dress, flowers, leather jacket and Carrian’s nails and somehow, my dangerously excessive hype level doubled.
Next minute, I find myself with videographer and partner in crime, Louie Rudge, trying to explain how good Bootleggers Turn are and how he needs to prepare himself for the best band in the game. Hype levels triple.
By this point, I am trying to keep a hold on this whole hype situation. Carrian then gifts me with a water bottle that has my logo on it - my hypeometer breaks (and I’m almost reduced to tears).
Owing to a hilarious morning and beautiful ceremony, the day keeps getting more and more hype. By mid afternoon, things are getting dangerous.
Hyperhypehypia is a real condition and what was intended to be a causal couple shoot was my tipping point. Seriously, these two are so naturally cool and fun that they made an empty field look epic.
I could continue but one of the symptoms of long-hyperhypehypia is an inability to stop writing and actually post the sneak peek. Rest assured though, by the end of the day if my hypeometer hadn’t already ascended to hype heaven it would have been reading ∞² and you will see why!
Carrian and Matt, thank you SO much for having me and making me feel like one of the family. PLEASE make this a yearly event, you guys are AMAZING!
