A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Lucy and Lloyd's wedding at Higher Eggbeer Farm. These two migrated to Australia a few years ago but made the journey half way round the world to have their wedding in Devon. Friends and family travelled from all over the globe to attend which made the day particularly special for the happy couple.
 
The venue was absolutely beautiful. The picturesque farmhouse overlooked Dartmoor with the ceremony held on the lawn. The weather was looking uncertain but the sun came out just as the ceremony began and was greeted with cheers from the guests! The ceremony was really lovely with tears shed and loving words shared. There was no doubt in my mind that these two are absolutely perfect for each other.
 
For the reception; a converted, candlelit barn with a roaring open fire. The wooden tables and benches complimented the tall candles and carefully placed flowers to give a beautiful rustic feel. The speeches were moving, with the exception of that of the best man. His speech was far from moving but could be the funniest speech I have ever heard, if not it was certainly the bravest!
 
 
I had a such a fantastic day. Lucy and Lloyd were such a friendly, kind and fun couple. The same can be said about every one of their friends and family for making me feel so welcome. I really did enjoy every second of their day, and was exceptionally pleased with the set of photo's I was able to produce for them.
